The Australian Welsh Male Voice Choir will join Wexford Male Voice Choir in the fundraising concert for the town's Able-Disabled Club, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Tony Murphy, from the club, said the Australian choir, which will be on a tour of England, Ireland and Wales, is due to stay at the Maldron Hotel for two nights in mid-May and offered to perform a charity concert in the town, following an appearance at the Royal Albert Hall '1,000 Voice Festival' in London.

Tickets for the Wexford concert, which starts at 7.30 p.m. are only €10 and available at the Riverbank House Hotel or from any committee member.

The repertoire will include something for everyone, with a wide variety of music from much-loved traditional Welsh songs to toe-tapping popular music.
