Members of the Wexford community were invited to the Wexford Arts Centre for an informative open evening recently.

Visitors came in great numbers to find out more about the centre's autumn programme, which features an array of theatrical, artistic and musical events. They also had the opportunity to explore the centre's current David Begley exhibition, 'Breathe', and meet many of the organisers and artists who will be leading future workshops in the centre.

After enjoying wine, music and finger food, visitors were given the opportunity to book autumn shows and courses in advance. Exciting courses include pre-school music classes with Aileen Donohue and Peter McCamley, an art workshop for Culture Night, contemporary dance courses and mindfulness courses. There will also be an array of shows including Wexford Drama's 'The 39 Steps' and Bridge Drama's 'The Cripple of Inishmaan' and 'Me Michael' by the Abbey Theatre for schools programme.
