Bridge Drama had a dress rehearsal for the upcoming play Juno and the Paycock in Castlebridge Hall on Sunday afternoon.

Following their All Ireland win last May, Bridge Drama will make their return to the stage with Sean O'Casey's, 'Juno and the Paycock.'

The production, which will be directed by Trish Doyle, will run in Wexford Arts Centre from November 1 until November 6.

The play tells the story of Juno and her family in an epic tale of survival and vengeance tinged with moments of uproarious comedy.

Captain Jack Boyle (Myles Sunderland) and his friend Joxer Daly (Ken Murphy) are Dublin tenement dwellers during the Civil War in 1922. Both put every effort into drinking and dodging work while the Captain regales his accomplice with puffed up maritime tales. Meanwhile, his spirited and long suffering wife, Juno (Deirdre McCarthy) struggles to keep the family a float. However, when the family learns of an inheritance it seems their troubles may be over.

Tickets for the show can be bought through Wexford Arts Centre online or from the office.
