Staff at Screen National School didn't want school to be all work and no play for their pupils so they got to work on a new project.

'Integrated Learning Through Play', also known as aistear, is about teaching children how to work as a team, help others achieve goals and complete tasks through a series of fun lessons. Screen NS recently received the building blocks for this probject, quite literally, when 200 large size building blocks were donated to the school.

Following the school's call for assistance, Catherine and Graham Kavanagh, who are both parents from the school community and owners of Fine Edge Design, answered the call in a practical and creative manner by providing the blocks for the pupils. These can now be used in the construction area of the project.
