Crowds of people put their heads together in Rochford's of Camross for the Camross Drama Group table quiz in aid of the Post Polio Support Group.

Despite plenty of testing questions and riddles, the night was also full of fun and laughter for all involved as quizmaster Michael Stafford kept the teams in high spirits. The success of the fundraiser was without question as over €400 was raised for the chosen charity.

Gillian Dunlop, David Doyle, Cheryl O'Neill and Tom O'Neill were delighted to win the quiz on the night. The cash prize won by the team was returned to the charity fund.

The event came just before the group staged their series of one-act plays: 'In For A Penny', 'Marrying Mary' and 'The Fat Lady Sings...in Camross'. The plays were a huge success during their first showing in Wexford Arts Centre and are sure to get a big applause when they are staged in Rathangan Hall on October 21 at 8 p.m. and in St Mary's Hall, Fethard-on-Sea on October 23 at 8 p.m.
