MEMBERS OF the Wexford leisure club in White's Hotel cooked up a tasty donation to the Windmill Therapeutic Training Unit with their ' bake and donate' coffee morning recently.

The event delivered the dough - all €621 of it - at the juice bar in the club where a huge variety of cakes, pies and biscuits was served up.

The clients of the Windmill unit are familiar with the leisure club facilities as they develop their swimming skills there each Friday morning.

The connection inspired the decision to support Windmill, which prepares people with various difficulties to face the challenge of modern life.

Leisure manager Julia Maguire commented: 'I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our bake and donate coffee morning, with a special thanks to Joanne O'Connor who donated a fabulous giant teddy bear cupcake for the raffle.
