Twenty five years and hundreds of miles can't separate the St Peter's Class of 1991, who recently came together again to catch up on the years gone by.
Fifty of the former students gathered together in Wexford for a much-needed catch-up, with some travelling from as far away as Switzerland and America for the occasion. Following a Mass in the college church led by Father Michael Doyle, the friends enjoyed a dinner and a night on the town.
'We all had a great night. Some of the guys hadn't been back in a long time and came home especially for the event,' said one of the event organisers Declan Cloney. 'I had been back (to the school) a few years ago but others hadn't been back for about 25 years so it was a bit of a culture shock.'
The reunion was the first that the class had organised since leaving school and according to Declan, it was quite difficult to round everyone up.
'It was hard to find some people as Facebook hasn't fully caught up with our generation. We still haven't found some people! They might have gone into hiding,' laughed Declan. 'But once you found one group, they usually could put you in touch with others.'
Overall, Declan said the night was a great success.
'As we are all getting that bit older, it was great to catch up and see where everyone has been.'
