The annual truck run will take a tour around county Wexford in aid of The Friends of Wexford General Hospital to help fund the MRI scanner.

The trucks will start in Kilrane beside Maguire's Hardware Sunday, August 20, leaving at 12 noon where over 100 trucks will by-pass New Ross on the ring road and proceed towards Enniscorthy.

All vehicles will park in the Cattle Mart, Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, at 1.30 p.m., where refreshments will be available and photo opportunities.

The mean-machines will leave the mart at 2.30 p.m. and head for Gorey, where they will by-pass the town by Tesco and come onto the Coast Road and head back for Wexford town.

The trucks will arrive in town at 4 p.m. and park on the Quay for the evening where everyone can enjoy music and various stalls.

Music will be provided by Borderline and others.

At each stop on the way, the committee from Friends of Wexford General Hospital will be collecting money in aid of the scanner.
