Absent motorists banned by judge

With no appearance by offenders and no licence details available to Wexford District Court, Judge Gerard Haughton felt he had no alternative but to put motorists off the road for 12 months:

Alexander Wright of 10 Redwood Park in Murrintown who was timed at 129 km/h in the 80 km/h zone at Cleariestown;

Anna Szackowska of 198 Cluain Dara in Clonard who was clocked at 70 km/h where the 60 km/h limit applies in Ardcavan;

Mary Bridget Finn Gilbride, of Dranagh, Boolavogue whose vehicle was detected at 92 km/h in where the limit is 80 km/h at Ballymartin in Castlebridge;

Seire Jyne Moy of Ballinamona, The Ballagh who came to the attention of the detector van at Ballymartin in Castlebridge, showing up at 94 km/h in the 80 km/h zone;

Tom Connors of Rockland (Local Business), Ballywilliam who hit 89 km/h in the 80 km/h zone at Ballymitty;

Brian Kennedy of Vernegey, Bannow who reach 93 km/h in Cleariestown where the 80 km/h limit applies;

Fines of €300 each were also handed down to the absent offenders.
