AN eight-month suspended sentence was imposed at the Enniscorthy sitting of Gorey District Court last week on a Wexford man after he called to a house in breach of a safety order and got into an argument.

Jason Duggan (31) of Apartment 2, Glenbrook, Newtown Road, Wexford, was charged with contravening a safety order at an address at Newlands, Wexford, on March 30 last. He had a previous conviction for breaching a barring order last year. His legal representative Jordan Fletcher said he realises his behaviour wasn't acceptable and he can't continue like that. He apologised to the court.

Judge Haughton imposed an eight-month sentence but suspended it on condition he enter into a probation bond for 12 months, and that he stay away from the address, and have no contact, directly or indirectly, with the injured party, except through a solicitor.
