The inquest into the death of a man in Enniscorthy earlier this year was held at Wexford Coroner's Court last week.
The court heard that 39-year-old William Tyrrell originally of Coolteigue, Bree, Enniscorthy but who had been living at Apartment 8, 6 Castle Street, Enniscorthy at the time of his death, had been found at his apartment by his mother, Breda on January 14.
Pathologist Dr Fergus McSweeney said that the port mortem on the body of Mr Tyrrell determined that cause of death was cerebral hypoxia. On the recommendation of County Coroner Dr Sean Nixon, the jury recorded a verdict or suicide.
Dr Nixon extended sympathy to the family of Mr Tyrrell on their said and tragic loss. Sympathies were also extended to the family by Inspector Pat Cody and the jury.
