A team of four attended the District Court in Gorey to ensure that motorists responsible for litter thrown from their vehicles on to an Enniscorthy road were convicted.
In court was Eoghan Lawrence of TSS Litter solutions whose covert camera was located on a pole at Turret Rocks in April of last year.
Also in attendance was council official Hugh Maguire of the environment section who reviewed the footage from the camera and his council colleague Anita Ryan who dealt with the issuing of fines.
The line-up was completed by community warden Donal Donovan who told how he served postal notices of fines to the homes of two of the accused litter bugs.
Cases came to court only when such fines were not paid.
The judge was shown CCTV footage which captured a series of drink cans or beakers rolling down the road, as well as the registration numbers of the vehicles from which the rubbish was tossed.
Court fines of €300 each were marked against Andrew Connors of 1 St Michael's Park, Monkstown, Dun Laoghaire; Andrew O'Brien of 1 Hillcrest House, Enniscorthy; Jessica Ennis of 88 Madeira Woods in Enniscorthy; and Jerry Connors of Knockeen in Barntown.
They were each ordered to pay €371 in costs and expenses.
