Guilty plea in violent disorder case

A 23-year-old Wexford man pleaded guilty to a charge of violent disorder when he came before Judge Barry Hickson at Wexford Circuit Criminal Court.
Michael Doyle, of 12A Windmill Heights, Wexford, pleaded guilty to a charge of violent disorder with others at Romany Lane, North Main Street, Wexford, on December 6, 2013.
Jordan Fletcher, for the defence, told the court that the defendant is now working full-time in the Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He needed some time in the case and asked for the preparation of a Probation and Welfare report.
Sinead Gleeson, for the prosecution, requested a victim impact statement.
Judge Hickson adjourned the case to the February session.
