A young man facing a long string of charges was back before Wexford District Court after he lost his place in a treatment centre.

Michael Clancy (19) from 1 John Paul Park in Murrintown stood charged with public order, theft and assault charges, all offences which were admitted.

Defence solicitor Jimmy Murphy recalled that outstanding matters were adjourned on a previous occasion to allow his teenaged client take up a place at the Aislinn centre in Ballyraggett at the end of March.

However, he was suspended after less than two weeks for what Mr Murphy called 'horseplay and pillow fighting'. However, the court was assured that a place was once more available at the centre.

All charges were adjourned to June 20 to check whether he is in Ballyraggett or at large on that date.
