A solicitor represented a very familiar client when he appeared at the civil sitting for May of Wexford District Court.
Rory Deane spoke up on behalf of his daughter in an action against Danske Bank in a personal injury case.
He explained that the young girl was three years old when she was in a queue at the bank.
An advertising hoarding fell on the child who suffered a broken bone in her hand.
Mr Deane informed Judge Gerard Haughton that she had made a full recovery.
The court approved a €14,373 settlement, which was not contest by Danske.
