A speeding offence committed in 2012 may have invalidated a motor insurance policy taken out by Johanna Connors (27) of Mullanour in Murrintown.
She attended the District Court in Ardcavan to deal with a summons initiated by Garda Elaine McCarthy after she met Ms Connors at Roche's Road in Wexford on April 1, 2014.
Solicitor Ed King acknowledged that the case had been before the court eight times before he asked for yet another adjournment to allow him check the insurance. The court was told that the accused driver took out a policy that required her to have no convictions and no penalty points when it was initiated.
The adjournment to September 13 was granted to allow further enquiries into the policy.
