Whiterock woman put off the road

A Whiterock woman who was clocked speeding was put off the road and fined in absentia at last Tuesday's sitting of New Ross District Court.

Louise Turner, 51 Lus More, Whiterock Hill, was charged with committing the offence at Castlebridge on July 13, 2016.

Turner was not in court to meet the charge and the court heard she was clocked driving at 66km/h in a 50km/h zone.

Unable to apply the penalty points to her licence because there were no details before the court Judge Gerard Haughton fined her €300, endorsed her licence and put her off the road for one year.
