A verdict of death by natural causes has been recorded in the inquest into the death of a Wexford town man.
Last Thursday's sitting of Wexford Coroner's Court heard how the body of 59-year-old William Doyle of 1, The Courtyard, George Street, Wexford, was found by his friend Philip O'Reilly at Mr Doyle's home on November 5, 2015.
Mr O'Reilly had called to Mr Doyle's home because he hadn't seen him in two weeks.
He found Mr Doyle's body in the bedroom.
Dr Nigram Shah said the post mortem showed Mr Doyle had severe heart disease.
County coroner Dr Sean Nixon said that the cause of death was severe ischemic heart disease and left ventricular heart failure.
The jury returned a verdict of death by natural causes on the recommendation of Dr Nixon. Sympathy was extended to Mr Doyle's family by Dr Nixon, Inspector Pat Cody and the jury.
