Repeated drug driving and motor insurance offences added up to seven years off the road for Amanda Lawlor (28) with addresses at 1 Maudlintown and 13 School Street in Wexford.
Solicitor Colette Culleton pointed to difficulties in her client's personal life around the time that she came to the attention of the gardaí on several occasions.
Wexford District Court was assured that the mother of two was now drug free and eager to carry out a stint of community service if offered the opportunity.
On one occasion, cannabis showed up in her blood sample after she almost collided with oncoming traffic.
Judge Gerard Haughton marked convictions for drug driving and dangerous driving.
Four counts of driving without insurance were considered, with the fourth leading to a 200 hour community service order in lieu of five months in prison.
Fines to a total of €900 were imposed and Ms Lawlor was told that she will not be permitted to drive for seven years.
