John Murphy from Craanford has been elected as vice chairman of the National Dairy Council.

John represents Glanbia on the Board of the National Dairy Council. He is vice chairman to newly elected chairman Teddy Cashman from Whitescross, Cork, who replaces Cllr Jackie Cahill who stepped down from his position as chair of the NDC following his selection to run for election for Fianna Fáil at a selection convention earlier this summer.

The National Dairy Council helps educate consumers on the role of dairy products in their lives.
