A large crowd attended the first Business Breakfast Group meeting of the term in New Ross, where marketing consultant Paula Ronan gave a very informative talk on 'Do or Die Marketing - 5 crucial rules for small businesses'.

There was a great turn out for the event.

The Better Business Breakfast Group was formed in May and the meetings are held fortnightly on a Thursday morning from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. in the Dunbrody cafe and they are designed not to interfere with the working day.

Angela Devereux of the group said: 'It is going from strength to strength and we had 19 business owners and managers at the last meeting. To date we have had some great guest speakers ranging from talks on social media for businesses to taxation for all types of businesses.'

The next guest speaker is Margaret Goldsmith from Guardian Fire Safety to give a talk on fire safety which is to coincide with national fire safety week.

The next meeting is on Thursday, October 1 at 8 a.m. in the Dunbrody café.

A €5 cover charge applies and this includes refreshments and is open to anyone in business in New Ross or district. Please contact Angela Devereux on 086 3019519 for more information about these events.
