BLUE Info Days take place in parts of Co Wexford this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, to help promote citizen science and to teach people more about the sea. The days are being hosted by Coastwatch, Trinity College Dublin, and Wexford County Council.

'Apart from sharing water information, experiments, art, traditions and having fun, we will be showcasing our varied coastal waters and features to visitors,' said Karin Dubsky of Trinity College and Coastwatch. Places are limited and will be allocated to those registered on first come basis. Register on www.coastwatch.org .

Events take place on Saturday morning in Wexford town and on Sunday morning in Cahore, Courtown and Ballymoney. They are free but people must register. There are also field-trips by boat, kayak, bike and foot, with a €10 registration fee covering lunch.
