THE BUSHER family have denied allegations made by Wexford Borough Council about activities at 16 Wolfe Tone Villas.
While Richard Busher confirmed that concerns were expressed about the back garden of his mother's house in October 2008, he denied the allegation that bags of rubbish were 'visible through the undergrowth'. He said once informed of the complaint they got a skip and cleared up the garden.
Mr Busher also confirmed that his daughter stayed in her grandmother's house around Christmas 2009, but it was only for 'a few weeks' after a fire at her own home in Maudlintown.
With regard to the unconfirmed allegation that drugs were being sold from the house, he said he has contacted Wexford Gardaí to try get to the bottom of the matter. No charges have ever arisen from the complaint and Mr Busher says the allegation is baseless and cannot be substantiated.
