Fined €300 for role in off-licence robbery
A MAN who stood on the street while his friend passed him stolen alcohol from an off-licence, was fined €300 at Wexford District Court.
Alan Lacey, Coolcotts pleaded guilty to a charge of entering The Carry- Out off- licence in South Main Street on March 13, 2010.
Inspector Pat Mcdonald said a window in the premises was smashed.
One person got into the offlicence and handed alcohol out to another person on the street.
A total of €150 worth of alcohol was removed from the premises.
He said the defendant was interviewed a few months later and admitted he was the person on the street.
