Fishers Row could become one way system

By Esther Hayden

A one way system could be introduced around Fisher's Row but it will be looked at as part of an overall traffic management plan for the area.

Cllr George Lawlor raised the matter at last Monday's meeting of Wexford Borough Municipal District.

District manager Angie Laffan said that the matter could be looked at but said it would be done as part of the overall traffic management plan for the area bearing in mind the redevelopment of Trinity Wharf.

Director of Services Tony Larkin said the council will be looking at the traffic management in the area this year. He also said that he expected that the council would be holding a special meeting about the Trinity Wharf development in July prior to the plan going on public consultation.
