Frank sings with Declan in impromptu Bullring gig
shoppers in the Bullring Market in Wexford were treated to an unscheduled performance by the acclaimed guitarist Declan Sinnott during a fundraising tea party for Wexford Women's Refuge and Pieta House.
Declan who played with Mary Coughlan's band for many years and produced several of her albums, appeared in duet with his brother Frank who left his guitar at home and together they sang two Bob Dylan songs You Ain't Going Nowhere and the Mighty Quinn which had stall-holders and browsers singing along.
Declan, who performs regularly with Christy Moore, was back in his home town with girlfriend Vicky Keating, a talented singer, for a well-received concert in Wexford Arts Centre on Saturday night.
Declan, a former founder member of Horslips and Moving Hearts, is also currently working with Keating's new band on which he plays electric guitar.
The Bullring fundraising event was organised by stall-holders in the Bullring Market in aid of the two charities.
