Free meeting on dementia at Wexford Library

Wexford Library has teamed up with Bluebird Care Wexford and the DCU Dementia Elevator team for Dementia Awareness Training, an introduction to assisting people to recognise the emotions, goals and coping strategies of people with dementia.
A free meeting is due to take place at Wexford Library on Thursday, October 20, from 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The content will be very beneficial to anyone who wishes to learn more about dementia,
In Ireland, it is estimated that 42,000 people have some form of dementia, and these figures will increase dramatically over the next 30 years. There may be people in your family or community living with dementia that you are unaware of and in need of your support.
