Fringe fest to take flight in Wexford at programme launch

The 64th Wexford Fringe Festival will kick off with a bang on October 21 when a giant fireworks display launches 17 days of fringe events.
Details on all of the events will be unveiled this Thursday September 22 at the official launch of the Fringe Fest guide in the National Opera House at 6 p.m.
Along with the world fanmous Wexford Festival Opera and Wexford Spiegeltent, the festival will also include over 300 music, theatre, comedy and cultural events. Some of the events have already been announced including Tin Soldier/ Paper Dancer, Art at the Mill exhibition and a one-act play by Eamonn Colfer 'Dumpton'.
An estimated 50,000 visitors will flock to the festival between October 21 and November 6.
