Genesis has genius

GENESIS BUSINESS College have won the Enterprise of the Year Award for 2008.

The business college, based in Wexford town, were presented with the award in the Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy, at a ceremony last Friday by Wexford County Enterprise Board.

The Enterprise of the Year Award is selected form over 700 business who have received grant aid from Wexford County Enterprise Board in the past 14 years, since the first grants to small businesses were provided.

Ted and Fleur Creed, Managing Directors of Genesis Business College (which provides finance, business and I.T. training at centres in the South East, including at training centres in Wexford Gorey), were presented with a cheque for ¤1,000 and a certificate as the overall winners.

The runner-up in Enterprise of the Year 2008 was Adman Steel, represented by Paul Nolan.

The Best Start-up Award went to InfoEze, represented by Miriam and Liz Breen, while the Best Online Business Award went to Donedeal.ie, represented by Fred and Geraldine Karlsson.
