Two long serving politicians were extended best wishes on their retirement at last week's meeting of the Joint Policing Committee.
Chairman of the JPC, Cllr Michael Whelan, said that both Deputy John Browne and Senator Jim Walsh were retiring from politics this month.
Both men automatically serve on the JPC as members of the Oireachtas.
He wished them well in their retirement, sentiments which were echoed by all present.
