The artwork of Grace Jones is set to go down in local history as she has just been named as the winner of the Taghmon Handball Club logo contest.

Dozens of children put pen to paper in an effort to create the club's new logo but in the end, it was 12-year-old Grace who came out on top. Her blue and yellow design will now be the official crest for the handball club.

Grace, who is a sixth class student in Carroreigh National School, was recently presented with a jersey complete with her logo.

Chloe Carroll from Taghmon National School also caught the eye of the committee with her logo and she came in second place. Meanwhile, Liam Winters who is also from Taghmon NS came third.
