Hazel (24), a daughter of Jim and Audrey O'Sullivan from Kilmore, has been active on the Irish modelling scene for a number of years and her profile will be boosted even further following her entry to the Big Brother House on Friday night.

Hazel has become hot property in Ireland in recent years and has been no stranger to the national media both as a result of her modelling and high-profile relationships with the late boxer Darren Sutherland and Leinster and Ireland rugby ace Fergus McFadden.

Earlier this year, the eyes of the world were upon Hazel as she worked as a walk-on girl at the sold out Ladbrokes World Darts Championships in London's Alexandra Palace.

Big Brother producers are describing Hazel as 'articulate and feisty' and say that she is not afraid to speak her mind. Producers and fans of the show alike will be expecting Hazel to keep them entertained and she has already warned housemates not to get on her bad side saying: 'I can be like a terrier sometimes – snappy and irritable.'

Hazel already appears to have caught the eye of one or two of the male housemates, particularly brash playboy Dexter Koh, and she has already stated that she is single and won't rule out romance in the Big Brother House. Along with fellow housemate Sam Evans, she has emerged as an early favourite to be declared winner of Big Brother 2013 with Ladbrokes, and her family and friends back home will be hoping that Hazel can indeed go all the way and emerge from the house victorious.
