Helena Bradley Bates set for semi final of The Voice
Wellingtonbridge woman Helena Bradley Bates will have the hopes of Wexford behind her this evening as she takes to the stage in the Helix for The Voice.
Helena is one of eight acts who have made it through to the semi finals. This week there are no teams, each contestant will be competing against each other and only four will make it through to the Grand Final. The top four scoring acts from the public vote will go through to the final.
The penultimate show will open with a group song from our 8 contestants singing Hold My hand by Jesse Glynn.
Team Una's John Sheehy will be the first contestant to perform on Sunday night's show with Maroon Five's Sugar. Denise Morgan impressed Bressie last week with her original arrangement she will be showing her vocals off this week taking on Skunk Anansie's Weak. Team Rachel's Sarah McTernan will be singing The Weekend's Earned it.
It seems Kian's love of rock is paying off as he has two acts left and both are rockers! John Bonham is proving popular with the public vote, topping his team on Sunday he will be doing a Guns N Roses classic Welcome to the Jungle.
Part time farmer Kieran McKillop will be performing Ed Sheeran's Give Me Love.
Helena Bradley Bates has just a couple of weeks to her due date but it seems the baby bump is having no effect as yet to her lung capacity and she will sing John Farnham's You're The Voice.
Dublin's Emma Humber's (Bressie) haunting vocals will certainly do justice to Florence and the Machine's What Kind of Man. And closing Sunday night's show will be Patrick Donoghue who will having everyone dancing in their seats to Shaka Khan's Ain't Nobody
This week's special guest will be Hometown they will be performing their Number 1 single Cry for Help.
