High achieving Aleksandra receives special award at trainers seminar

Aleksandra Kania, who is employed at Lawler's Takeaway and Pizzeria, in Morriscastle, was recently presented with a special award at the National Hygiene Partnership Annual Licensed Trainers Seminar held at the Aviva Stadium by Dr Pamela Byrne.

Aleksandra was one of the highest achieving students nationally in 'The Management of Food Safety, Training Programme, the essential guide to HACCP compliance', in 2015.

David Power, Licensed Trainer for the delivery of programme, said its objective is to ensure that participants are trained in the principles and practices of effective food hygiene management and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to formulate and implement a comprehensive food safety management system in the workplace and to organise the necessary training for their staff.
