High drama in Kilmuckridge
LOS ANGELES might have had its Oscars Ceremony this weekend, but local awards were just as eagerly anticipated at the close of the 52nd Kilmuckridge Drama Festival last Saturday night after an entertaining week of drama at the Kilmuckridge Memorial Hall.
Chairman Liam Buttle thanked all involved in another successful week and congratulated the participating groups on a very high standard of acting during the productions.
Thanks also went to the festival sponsors, as without their support, the event could not continue.
A collective breath was held as adjudicator Anne Moloney O'Driscoll delivered her verdict on a busy week, and announced the winners.
