Irish Museum of Modern Art exhibition at County Buildings

A GROUP exhibition of paintings from the Irish Museum of Modern Art - 'this lasted until dawn...' is to take place at the County Buildings on the Newtown Road from Thursday, May 21, until Sunday, May 31.

The exhibition, featuring the work of notable Irish artists, is the result of collaboration between the Arts Department of Wexford County Council, Wexford Arts Centre and museum.

It will include works by Basil Blackshaw, Oliver Comerford, Barrie Cooke, Diana Copperwhite, William Crozier, Elizabeth Magill, Michael Mulcahy and Hughie O'Donoghue. The exhibition will take place along with a series of talks and workshops in Wexford's public libraries, are definitely events to mark in your cultural calendar.

County Council opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the exhibition and workshops are free of charge.
