Kehoe is 'honoured' to work with Leo
WEXFORD Deputy Paul Kehoe, one of Lea Varadkar's staunchest backers during his quest to become Taoiseach, says he is honoured to have been reappointed as defence minister.
'Having had the privilege of working with the Department of Defence and the Defence Forces over the last year I am pleased to be able to continue my programme of work and the development of capabilities across the Defence Organisation,' said Minister Kehoe.
'In this way we will build on the well-earned outstanding reputation of Óglaigh na hEireann'.
Minister Kehoe said that in selecting his cabinet, 'Leo Varadkar tasked his government to get things done, and that is certainly what I intend on doing'.
