A reading room is Wexford Library will be named after 1916 hero Robert Brennan.
The best way to remember Brennan has been hotly debated in recent months after a proposal to rename George's Street to Brennan Street spectacularly failed following a plebiscite. District manager Angie Laffan said that she was in discussions with the director of services about naming a reading room in the library after Brennan.
She said there were also plans to create something like a memorial garden at the corner of Abbey Street and George's Street to commemorate Brennan.
