MECCA FOR UNITED SUPPORTERS!

SIXTEEN members of the Wexford Manchester United Supporters Club made the journey over to Manchester recently to their holy grail, Old Trafford, to see their team take on Fulham. The members set off from Wexford by minibus and journeyed to Dublin where they got the ferry to Holyhead, drove up the coast through the picturesque Colwyn Bay and onto the M56 bound for Manchester.

The group arrived in Manchester on the Sunday, immediately heading for Old Trafford to take in club's history of success at the museum and to see the facilities that the players use first-hand on the stadium tour.

The following evening, it was game time and the group saw their team run out 1-0 winners over Fulham, with Wayne Rooney sweeping the ball home from eight yards to return United to the top of the league table.
