Meeting to be held between council, gardai and GAA

A meeting between the council, the GAA and the gardai needs to be organised to find a solution to the parking problems at Wexford Park.
Cllr George Lawlor raised the matter again at last week's meeting of the municipal district saying that urgent action was needed to alleviate the significant parking problems being experienced by the residents in the area.
Cllr Lawlor who has brought up the matter on a number of occasions said it is ongoing problem and it needs to be resolved.
He said that a meeting between the gardai, the GAA and the council might be able to determine a satisfactory solution.
Cllr Davy Hynes supported him saying that the GAA aren't responsible for people's lack of courtesy when it comes to parking but said they should be playing a bigger part.'
Cllr Anthony Kelly said the matter has been going on for a number of years and said that he hoped that a resolution could be reached.
