PEOPLE ACROSS the county who have been victims of crime have the opportunity to be reunited with their stolen possessions on Thursday, September 22, as Enniscorthy Garda Station hosts a National Property Recovery Day.

Members of the public are invited to attend the station from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to view catalogues and a PowerPoint presentation detailing items of property which have come into possession of gardaí over the last number of years across the country.

Sgt Jarlath Duffy of Enniscorthy Garda Station said that the property may have been recovered from right across the country. While items recovered may also be viewed online at and accessed from the 'Property in Garda Possession' tab, Sgt Glynn said that the catalogue in the station will be far greater and people will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have.

'This is a national property recovery day and Enniscorthy Garda Station has been chosen as the venue in County Wexford. Items of property found from all over the country will be available to be viewed.'

Staff from the County Wexford victims services office will be in attendance to provide advice and assistance to victims.

The event will take place between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and all are welcome.
