New album fresh out of laboratory for Frankenstein Bolts
Wexford band Frankenstein Bolts featuring dream pop duo Dan Comerford and Justin Cullen have released a brand new album 'Aglow & Spark' which was recorded following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Fans were invited to pledge money in return for receiving the album, a band t-shirt and exclusive album artwork.
'Aglow & Spark' consists of nine songs including numbers in the dream-pop genre and also the band's own brand of indie, guitar, pop and folk music. The album was recorded at Asta Kalapa Studios with Darragh Nolan and was mixed by Paul Juggins who also worked on their debut collection 'Slow Season'
The lead single from the album 'Anatomic Major' was released with a video. It debuted on BBC Radio in Northern Ireland and has received favourable reviews in the national music press. Frankenstein Bolts have embarked on a nationwide tour to promote the album with gigs in Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny and major festival appearances including Castlepalooza mainstage and Body & Soul mainstage at Electric Picnic.
The pair will complete the tour with a launch party in Wexford.'Aglow & Spark' is available online from iTunes and Bandcamp and in local music stores.
