THE Wexford Credit Union Night Run will take place at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, starting on Wexford Quays, with organisers hoping for a great turnout on the night.
This is the second year of the run and the organisers are delighted it's back and hope those taking part will 'have an even more joyful experience'.
This year the run is in aid of two local Wexford charities The Irish Kidney Association Wexford Branch and MarineWatch.
The run will follow the same route as last year from the Quay out towards Kerlogue with a turn around, returning through The Faythe and main street with a downhill finish on Anne Street back to the quay.
There will be plenty of refreshments available at the marquee on the quay as well as fun, laughter, music and a few surprises along the way. The race will be chip timed this year with individual results available to all.
The Night Run is a fun event and is suitable for competitive runners, joggers and walkers alike.
The organisers said they had many first timers out last year and would love to welcome them back along with new participants.
The run is a month away so there is still plenty of time to get a bit of training in. For enquiries email firstname.lastname@example.org, see facebook or call 0874150292. To register www.gorun.ie.
