Paul Eaves from Rosslare may be only 14 but that doesn't stop him from aiming high for a worthy cause.

The third year student in C.B.S. decided to take the plunge by taking part in a skydive in Longford in aid of Console. A 15,000 feet drop didn't phase the 'adrenaline junkie' who managed to raise 1188 for the national suicide awareness charity.

'He wasn't nervous at all,' said Paul's mother Yvonne Eaves. 'He just decided that he wanted to do this, particularly as it was suicide awareness month.'

Paul's friends in C.B.S. didn't believe that he was truly going to make the leap so Paul made sure to get photographic evidence of his dive. According to Yvonne, he really enjoyed the experience.

'He said he would do another straight away,' she said.

Paul has his sights set on his next challenge and according to Yvonne, he will 'no doubt find something more daring to do'.
