Peter marks 50th with surprise bash
Wexford man Peter Murphy received a special birthday surprise when his son and daughter planned a secret bash in honour of his 50th birthday.
The Stena Line employee and avid golfer from The Faythe was shocked when he was met by over 50 friends and family members for a party in Billy Kellys pub. According to daughter Nicole, who organised the event with brother David, Peter wasn't suspicious of their plans in the runup to the big day.
'He didn't know what was going on!' she laughed.
Guests enjoyed food, drinks and entertainment provided by Mick Buggy and Bronwyn Smith.
According to Nicole, everyone had a brilliant time, especially Peter, who was delighted to spend time with some old friends and family members.
