Post mortem results expected on the body of woman found in Clonard

GARDAI investigating the discovery of a body of a woman in her early 50s in Clonard expect to have the post mortem results this evening.
The body was found at 7:30pm at a premises in the Cluain Dara housing estate in Clonard on Tuesday evening.
The scene was immediately preserved and Deputy State Pathologist Michael Curtis was notified and arrived on the scene on Wednesday morning.
It is not yet clear whether the discovery of the body is being treated as suspicious but post mortem results are expected to be made available to gardai this evening.
The women is believed to be a foreign national who had moved into the area in recent months.
