Probation for possession of heroin and cannabis at pitch
A WEXFORD man found in possession of heroin and cannabis resin at Clonard GAA pitch has been ordered to enter a probation bond for 12 months.
Alan Lacey, with addresses on court documents at 91 Belvedere Grove and 77 (b) South Main Street, had previously pleaded guilty to the offences before Judge Donnchadh O Buachalla at Wexford District Court and it came before the court again last week following a lengthy adjournment, during which time the defendant had kept out of trouble.
A probation officer's report also reflected well on Lacey, with the judge noting he had cooperated with probation service.
Judge O Buachalla did not impose a conviction but instead ordered that he enter into a probation bond to keep the peace and be of good behaviour for a year.
