Quays gearing up for first motor show
WEXFORD'S MOTOR dealers will hold the first Motor Show on the quays in Wexford on Saturday, April 21.
The show, which will feature 120 new cars and MPVS and 150 vintage and classic cars will be the biggest in Ireland so far this year.
The event will take place from 9 am to 6 pm and will stretch along both sides of the quays from Wexford Bridge to Crescent Quay.
It is expected that over 10,000 people will visit the show. Wexford motor dealers are running the event in partnership with the Road safety Authority, The Sports and Classic Car Club and Wexford Borough Council.
The Road Safety authority, which will be based close to Wexford Bridge, will have its Road Show Vehicle and a roll over simulator, as part of a Road Safety Awareness campaign on the day of the event.
There will be a family entertainment area with clowns, face painting, and a climbing wall at the other end of the Quays.
This show will have the biggest motor business participation in the country this year, with 18 franchise dealers and 24 brands represented on the day.
It's great to see the local dealers, who compete against each other every day, coming together to put a show on for County Wexford.
The show is free.
