The Rambling Balladeers have proven instrumental in raising money for charities in recent years and their next musical fundraiser is just around the corner.

Ger Kehoe, Sharon Fitzgerald, Ger Walsh, Ray Stafford and Billy Codd aka The Rambling Balladeers are currently busy rehearsing for this year's tour which is made up of 13 gigs in pubs around Wexford. This years tour starts on Saturday July 9 in Murnagh's Bar, Oylegate.

The group was formed specifically to fundraise for charity and Wexford Hospice Homecare were the grateful beneficiaries of their efforts last year. Through their gigs, the musicians raised €7,000 for the charity which was recently presented to Joe Costello of Wexford Hospice Homecare.

The Balladeers credit Diageo Ireland, John Gaynor of Gaynors Bar, The Riverbank House Hotel and the numerous pubs around Wexford and their generous customers for the fundraising success over recent years.
