Right2Water to hold Wexford meeting

The Right2Water Wexford group is hosting a public meeting in St Joseph's Community Hall on Wednesday, November 23 at 8 p.m. with guest speaker Dave Gibney of the Mandate trade union who is the campaign's national organiser.
People Before Profit councillor Deirdre Wadding and Paul Kiernan, a community activist who is inolved in Jobstown Not Guilty will also address the meeting. Water charges have been suspended pending the outcome of a Commission of Investigation and a bill on the privatisation of the water infrastructure is due to be debated this week.
Aislinn Wallace of Right 2 Water Wexford said the meeting will address a number of concerns including the prosecution by the State of anti-water charge activists around the country.
